Turbocharger torque specs

I was searching in the fsm for torque on the turbocharger lines and manifold. Mainly because my water return line is pissing coolant. I would like to get all the torque specs, and yes i'm missing a few. I hope this helps somebody else too have it here.

This is what I found so far, going by the highest torque #:

Exhaust manifold to engine - 34 Ft-Lb
Exhaust manifold to turbo - 40 Ft-Lb
Water Pipes - 26 Ft-Lb

What I need to know is the torque specs on the water pipes. Yes I know it's there, but I wasn't sure if that was for the bolts joining the coolant inline to the intake manifold, or the big bolt (19mm I think?) going into the turbo itself, or even all bolts involving the water lines? Which I highly doubt because the bolts are considerable difference sizes. I didn't see anything on the oil line torque specs. Judging by the lack of information I would only assume it needs to be snug?

This is very stressful because I have removed my s4 turbo to go to the s5 turbo and installed. Then found some heat shields for the s5 turbo and removed and installed again. Went to go start the car and now I have coolant coming out at the coolant return line. I haven't looked into it but im hoping I can fit a wrench on the line and tighten it up without removing the turbo again. From my memory that isn't doable.

1-72 Actually. There's no gasket on the return line. Just crush washers and the hose that goes to the water pump.

No, I didn't replace those. I should though. Would you get those from mazda or can you just get them from lordco or something? If so what's the exact size? I'll probly just end up going through mazda because i'm thinking about getting all new lines for the turbo.

good question I could of swore I saw em on Mazdatrix or somewhere...maybe it was racingbeat oh well

(I'm in the process of replacing my s5 turbo with a new condition s5 turbo and mani so I'm glad I saw your thread, did you have to jack up the car at all or did you jus work on it on the ground?)

I've bought most of the gaskets off of mazdatrix but I forgot to get the crush washers (I found em for the oil lines, but iono if they'll work for the coolant lines)

http://www.mazdatrix.com/b6.htm

it's near the bottom

You can get crush washers from any fastener or hydraulic store. Most auto parts stores also sell assortments.
