Turbo Upgrade Options...

Come summertime, i'll have a full racing beat turboback, a'pexi intake, S-AFC, all the boost and air fuel gauges i need, a walbro, and a ported wastegate. By then i'll be working a lot more during the summer, so what options do I have as far as upgrading my turbo? I'll be saving up for an FMIC, then once I get that the next thing will be the actual turbo setup. I'm a noob as far as this stuff goes, but as usual i'm just trying to learn by doing the stuff myself, possibly with some help. What i've gathered so far is that you can either go with an entirely new turbo or upgrade the stock one, and you will need new injectors and a new intercooler. So I guess what i'm asking is a price list for the things I would need for a safe turbo setup. Also, with running an aftermarket turbo, is engine management a must?

I think if you go past that stage with your current mods, I'd highly recommend getting an aftermarket ECU and dump the piggyback. You'll thank me later.

How much power are you shooting for and willing to spend?

BNR has a few stages for their hybrid turbos. New injectors like 4x720 seems like a good idea because you won't want to go past 80% duty cycle on the stockers. Save up for some dyno tuning too.

I'll probably get a dyno tune in before July with the setup i'll be getting soon, then i'll be saving up over the summer. I'm not shooting for crazy power, but something to get me mid to low 13's would be nice, cheap as possible of course.

The stock turbo will already do that.

Maybe a better clutch to handle all the new power?
