Thats the same "T70" that fc3s.org is selling on their new website. As to whether or not its crap I have no idea, but it is true you get what you pay for and if you buy an oil cooled turbo make sure you hook up a turbo timer.

When they first hit the market (on eBay), it looks like a good deal for something that has the potential to produce 500hp+ on a 13B.
Doing some early poking around, these things come from a Brazil company called "Master Power", and they claimed to be an authorized Garrett manufacturer.
Okay, so having it made from cheap labor makes a little sense.
Shortly thereafter, that website quietly disappeared off the web searches - uh, red flag.
There have been several people who have bought them, and several even on here.
Everyone was looking for direct experiences, and the buyers all promised results.
Well, guess what, all those buyers sorta kinda disappeared with no follow-up - another red flag.
Then I start to hear stories that these "T70"'s were coming with T3 hot sides - WHAT??? Another red flag...
Do a search - you'd be surprised what kinda posts there are about these flakes.
Recently, all the posts I've seen are BAD.
Enough red flags for you?

according to Garrett's own website, they have their own manufacturing facility in Brazil, not some other company that is "authorized" to do so. i dont know if that has changed from before, but I thought I would pass that info on.

ok, well i'll get some suggestions from you guys... i have done searches, and heard many many different things about stuff, so if you guys could just let me know here, it would make it easier. Right now i have an 87 TII with exhaust, intake, remapped ecu, etc. It is a project car, so it is off the road until i get everything done. It may also have a mild street port, but i cannot verify it. My compression on both rotors were 110-110-110. I am buying a standalone, 2x 850cc/2x 1000(ish)cc injectors, walbro 255 or similar, spearco fmic (or another brand), and the turbo. I want to push around 350 or so hp.... well, as much as i can get without having to rebuild the engine in a week ( i plan on rebuilding it in the near future to add 3mm apex seals, and adding an aggressive street port). So my questions to you are..... what is a good standalone, fmic, turbo that i can get. Money IS an issue, so brand new 3000 turbo kits are a no-go. So any info that you guys have would be great. Thanks

how much more would be needed to push the hp up.... and what can the stock internals/drivetrain hold... approximately... from what i've heard, as long as fuel is kept up, the drivetrain can take about 500hp, and the engine can keep up with it as well..... what kind of setup would be needed to reach 400-450??? Any suggestions on where to obtain these parts for a good price???
thanks again guys

60-1, T04E "60", or TS04 will all easily do 400 to the wheels at pump gas restrictions (under 20psi).
Going a little more, a Turbonetics T66 will do 500 at the wheels, and about the biggest streetable turbo you can run.
Please, don't ask for being cheap, we're talking about $5,000+ worth of stuff and supporting mods to handle this kinda power.
If you don't have $5,000 laying around, don't do it.

well it is currently a project, and since im not the richest in the world, i am doing it slowly... once i sell my 95 camaro, then we will be talking a-whole-nother story. Do any of hte supporting mods include engine internal work??? (i will be keeping it at low boost during daily conditions, and will only boost it up once in a while at teh track)

Engine internal works is not REQUIRED, but it is highly recommended.
Shooting for power levels over 300hp, it's highly recommended to rebuild the engine to handle the extra power - we're talking about power levels that are over 2 times stock rated power and start getting close to THREE times the stock power levels.
Just to give you the idea of relativity...
2x on an NSX means about 400hp to the ground; 3x is closer to 700hp.
2x on a Viper means about 800 to the ground; 3x is over 1100hp.
2x on a JZA80 Supra means about 500hp to the ground; 3x is over 800.
Porting is not REQUIRED, but it is highly recommended.
As with the rebuild, you might as well port it when you rebuild it.

right now im pretty sure it has a mild street port... im not 100% sure tho. When i do rebuild it, i plan on going 3mm apex, and an aggressive street port

Turbo exhaust manfold is crap.
Personally, I think the 40mm HKS WG is too small.
Garrett does NOT make a "0.98" A/R turbine section; it might be a 0.96.
The seller does not expicitly state what compressor wheel trim it is, and there is not way to comfirm the "450hp" claim he makes.
In case you missed it, it doesn't have any oil supply line, oil drain line.
That's more money you need to complete the kit.
