Turbo Timer w/ Stock Alarm
I installed the Apex Autotimer in my car but the stock alarm wont arm when the engine is still on and that is a big problem........I am wondering which wire I would have to splice in order to get the alarm to work while the car is still idlin. W/ the FDs is splice the black and yellow to the white. DOes anyone have any idea?

Put in an good aftermarket...
I'm sure picking the brain of one of the installers to arm it while the engines is still running will be much easier than trying to bridge around the stock set up.

Scott doesnt that defeat the whole purpose of having a TT though?!?! why not just sit in your car for a min and then get out and lock your door...why stand outside your car for a min waiting for it to shut off...
as for the wires i dunno..

if the turbo timer has an output when active wire, then you could run a relay off that to interupt the ignition inputs to the stock alarm on the series 4 cars.

however I love it for running short errons like into the bank etc while it stays running with doors locked. and use the built in volt meter.

Also I heard that the alarm ecu for the series 4 is on passenger side behind the glove box, but I see the black alarm ecu on the driver side nxt to the foot rest, can someone clear this for me?

then just wait like 30 secs or so and shut off the car.
otherwise... just keep the thought that new turbos cost more then the extra min u save each time.

Water-cooled turbos don't really need TT's unless you insist on full-boost driving all the way to your destination. A couple of miles at normal speeds without boost sees core temps low enough for safe shutdown.
