turbo timer and keyless entry conflict
I had a Rattler keyless system installed at Circuit City along with a door actuator. Yesterday I finally got to installing my blitz turbo timer. Now when the timer is activated and i try to lock the doors with the remote it does not lock since the car is running. If I lock manually the locks are then unlocked automatically by the keyless system when the timer shuts off the car. For all the car electronic installers etc. what needs to be done in order to work these two items together. I know a guy who has a timer on his Bimmer and it does not create any problems with his aftermarket alarm. Unfortunately he bought the car like that so he does not know how.
thanks

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
The rattler is a newer DEI system, and if it follows all normal DEI system operation, you have to hold the remote lock for about 1.5 seconds tolock while the ignition is on.
You would also need a relay for the turbo timer. Simple hook up.
Pins on the relay have numbers next to them, wire as follows:
Turbo timer ignition output 86
12v constant to 87
Ground on 85
cut the ignition wire in the car
side towards the switch and the yellow wire from the keyless to 87a
side towards the car to 30.
