i was kidding.... it was a joke....
there really is no way anyone can tell you how much you could boost....
you didnt tell us enough about your car
stages dont mean ****
and.... tell us what size injectors you have, if you have fcd, etc
if you need to ask how much you could boost up to, my advise is DONT TOUCH THE BOOST CONTROLLER ****.........

your real advice is to use the search button. The N/A turbo AND N/A to turbo conversion has been covered numerous times. You will lots of threads on the information you want. Good luck... and welcome to the board. ^_^

but anywho, for race797; why not just keep building the motor you have? what would you benefit from going turbo, after you have obviously spent time and money having your n/a motor rebuilt and ported... if it were me, i would keep working on the n/a motor for a while see what you can get out of it before you toss it in the garage for a turbo swap, which you would end up having to get rebuilt if you bought a cheap one... you will get a lot more fun out of an n/a imo.. they are more reliable, less things to worry about.. etc.

if you want it faster, you have a great start, just work on it some more and get it to where you want it, remove all the emissions crap if you havent already, improve the intake (porting or custom fab), get an actual cold air intake if you havent already, fab a cold air box, upgrade your fuel system, get an SAFC II or something like it, if you want a lot of speed, upgrade the ecu, get a good exhaust if you havent already, racing beat headers and presilencer to whatever catback type setup you want, but i would stick with a full racing beat exhaust, good suspension will help your take off speed, you loose a lot when the weight suddenly shifts if your suspension is weak, upgrade to a TII tranny if your gonna be pushing a lot of HP at this point, lightened flywheel, good clutch, lose some weight out of the car if you want more speed... weight reduction is good when your at the end of your 'bolt on' upgrades, 100lbs = .1 second 1/4 mile, after the emssions is out get rid of the AC and heater, power steering if you have it, pineapple racing sleeves, do you want me to go on?

I have had to clean up this thread, unfortunately. I left the useful posts, or at least the ones that weren't completely flamatory or unnecessary.
Let this be a warning to those that were flaming. If you have a problem with each other, take it to PM's and keep it out of the threads.
Thank you.

To the thread starter, if turboing your n/a is the route you want to go please use the search function. This has been discussed countless times and there are links in the FAQ with information.
If more useless posts keep getting put here I'm just going to close it entirely, but for now I'll leave it open.

S-AFC II is made by Apexi it's a 'Super Air Fuel Controller' it's very handy when you start getting fuel system upgrades it is a must!
if you've got the money, i'd say build the N/A as much as you possibly can, then if you want to someday have the turbo speed as well, buy a Turbo II and start building it, one project at a time.

but as for turboing the n/a motor you have, you would probably see better gains with the things listed above. spend a lot less time, and less risk to your engine than adding the stress of boost.

the safc II is around $350 new, shouldnt be too hard to put in, as for the injectors, i'm not sure what all mod's you have at this point, so i couldnt really tell you what kind of injectors to get, just that usually the higher the rpm > the more lean your car will get with the stock fuel system, but trust me an upgraded intake and exhaust is the only way you will see gains from any of this. a lot of people when upgrading their fuel system use injectors from turbo II's and also the TII fuel pump. but without the safc these wont be much good either
