Turbo Questions: Chipped Turbine Wheel
I have a S4 turbo from my old engine. It has some chips out of the turbine wheel (exhaust side). What are my options to fix it?
Also, before when it would spool up it was quiet audible. I can't even hear the new turbo. Would this be from the unbalanced turbine blades or is it likely a symptom of other problems? My old TID also had a small crack in it so maybe that was the noise problem?
