I gather that you have a S4 car with a S5 exhaust manifold.
The S4 computer and manifold controll boost different than a S5. The S4 uses a Twin scroll system. There is a flapper in the S4 manifold controlled by the actuator valve that helps the turbo spool up. The S5 controlls boost with a different wastegate solinoid controll valve. With all that said, you can an run a S5 manifold if you have a aftermarket boost control vave like a ACVR. You can find more information by comaparing the S4 vaccum drawings to the S5 drawings. Try a search on twin scroll.
