Question Turbo opinion please

OK so I have a 1988 Turbo II. I want to upgrade the turbo. I realize i need: Turbo, manifold, wastegate, and injectors. (sorry if i'm missing anything ) Please inform me if i require something else. I have a couple options on the turbo right now. T04E (not sure which one, i know theres a couple) and Super 60 series turbonetics (once again not sure which one). I REALLY want to get a new turbo and i'd like to know if my car can spool these and at what rpm's? All i have done is:

Turbo back 3 inch exhaust
Emissions removed and block off plates
Walbro 255 Fuel pump
intake
Greddy front mount (not on yet) in the market for a greddy compression tube
and i'm sure i have more but can't think right now.

Any other turbo's i might look into? Its a DD and i want to make it quicker. I know reliability might be a bit out of the question but if its possible how? Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks

It would help us out to tell us what kind of power you want to make.
You might want to look into the bnr hybrid turbos, which is pretty much an upgraded stock turbo.
These are better if you want smaller gains in power and dont want to spend to much to achieve that power. Plus they use the same exhaust manifold so you wouldnt need to upgrade that either.
Search bnr turbos and look them up online. There is a lot of bnr turbo info on this forum. I believe time slips/ dynos also has a bnr turbo setup topic that everyone posts their bnr setup and the power they make.

bnr turbos i believe come with the option of an external wastegate. They should say on their website if the option is available, if not you should just send them an email.

i have around 1600 to spend. Is 700 for a HKS TO4e (need of rebuild) HKS manifold HKS downpipe and HKS wastegate a good deal? and i would use a BNR but i kinda want to replace the manifold for some reason? lol
