Arrow turbo manifold questions

Hey guys you may remember I had posted a thread last week asking for help choosing a turbo. Well I got a stock TII turbo for a very good price (isnt she pretty). Anyway I dont have a manifold and I have a few questions.

1) Would it be possible to port/polish a tii exhaust manifold(is there enough metal) and would it help any?

2) DO the aftermarket manifolds sold on ebay(ssautochrome) really provide any type of gain?

This is the stock turbo i just purchased. I was told it was recently conditioned and has very little shaft play up and down and none side to side.

1) yes it is possible but as for it helping, no it wouldn't. those that come in later and say it does are dillusional, carbon collects on all exhaust surfaces in a matter of seconds so polishing any exhaust components internally is a complete waste of time. (same goes for rotor combustion faces)

2) there is pros and cons to everything, the design of those manifolds looks decent but there have only been a few people to actually try them out. as for gains, i would think they would be minimal if any noticed at all.
