Question Turbo Manifold Question, HELP!

Hello Everyone. I just finished a 13B4Port with Turbo2 rotors. I have a Webber 48mm sidedraft ,Garrett T04 turbo, and a front mount intercooler on it, to mention a few things. Well, my question is sometimes when I drive the car for a while and drive it pretty hard the turbo manifold gets a glowing red. Just so everyone knows I am running 6 pounds of boost. I understand the red manifold usually means the motor is running lean, but my air fuel gauge reads rich when I'm on the gas and stoich/rich at idle like it's supposed to. If anyone could possibly tell me why the red manifold and anything to remedy it I would greatly appreciate it. Someone told me it's because I'm using a stainless steel manifold and that the friction the rotary makes reacts with the stainless steel causing this, can this be true?, if so any remedies?

Running too rich. Though it is fairly normal for a turbo and manifold to glow after severe driving.

air / fuel gauge is garbage. get a hold of a wide band o2 sensor from a local tunning shop and see how it's running.

what's the timming like under boost?
