turbo II hood

turbo II hood

Ive been wanting a turbo II hood for my NA because its aluminum and also because it looks sweet.

what am i expecting to pay if i got one at a salvage yard? Also how much would it be to paint??


also is it a disadvantage to have a hood scoupe on an NA??

probably between 200-400 for the hood, depending on conditition. Need an extra 200 bucks for paint.

I'd say at least $200 at most about $400. Make sure you try to find one locally because shipping will probably damage it. I means it's aluminum not steel so it should be easier to bend.
I'm doing the same thing, I figure it should cool it off but not alot.

Man I am trying to get one of those carbon fiber hoods. Are they on hinges are do they use hood pins?

I paid $450 for mine, which is the most expensive I have seen them. Of course, mine is nearly flawless, and the paint matched perfectly. Keep in mind that repainting will cost you $100-200. You can get a nice aluminum NA hood for about $200.
