Aaron Cake posted the whole 1988 brochure here:

I bought mine new 1988. However, being a paranoid bastard, I test drove a used high-mileage 1987 model first to see how the car drove with some miles on it, and it was as tight as the new model I drove next. I especially liked the steering vs. the other cars of the era. You should have seen the 10AE as the centerpiece of the Mazda dealership floor room back in 1988... wow.
That was a dealer-installed option, and you could also buy the glass roof separately from Finish Line (Mazda's official aftermarket line) or Pacific T-Top, Inc. (an independent aftermarket company in Huntington, CA) and install it yourself.
LOL at the person who has not actually tried sitting in both models before making an ignorant comment like that.
Ooooo a Norton brochure! Thanks!
Now you see why I rag on people nowadays who try to sell their RX-7 with a "mint" interior. I know what mint looks like. There are no mint RX-7's anymore. At minimum some of the plastic interior pieces discolor over time, especially the ash tray cover.

You loose a good .5 inch of headroom to the sunroof, which you might not notice if you're shorter than 5'10", or have a very short torso, but headroom bugged the hell out of me until I got a racing seat and Bride rails.

My bad, I should have specified the FC vs. the FB models. The initial design goal was for the electric sun roof to take up no more headroom than the earlier removable sun roofs in the 1Gen model. If you try sitting in both models (1Gen with sunroof vs. 2Gen with sunroof), you will see that they accomplished this goal (approx. 0.4"). This is what they mean in the brochure.
