turbo glows red after 2 mins of idle!!!!!

Im wondering if either I messed up with injector wiring or if there is something wrong with the timing or the coolant seals... I just never experienced this sort of problem with a rebuild before... any help would be apreciated....

Almost positive it must be your timing. Either advanced too far or way retarded. Either one can cause high egts.

I dont have a timing gun with me right now so I have no idea how advanced or retarted it is....but I did put the crank on the right most timing mark, and then aligned the cas and stabbed it in

when you stab it in... it probably moved a little when you tried to get it down there. It can actually move quite a bit. What you can do to fix it is... unscrew the two screws on the top and take off the lid so you can see the insides of the CAS. Then align the dot. Then you can watch to see if it moves as you stab it in. I did mine this way and it works wayyyy better. Give that a shot, should give you much better timing.

do it right... get a timing light and set timing per the FSM. Or then again you could half *** it and blow it up... your choice.

well, that's true, but you're still going to want to get the CAS in there correctly before you time it.
