Turbo Gauge Reads 0 All the Time

Hey all,

Just as the title says, the boost gauge is reading 0 at all times. I feel the turbo kick in, but at the same time... i feel that it is sometimes lacking in the "umph" that i expect. is it more of a turbo problem or simply a gauge problem? if so, i'd prefer to check the gauge before removing the intake... any suggestions on what else it could be? Thanks in advance.
