Turbo Convertible lives!! But.......?
Turbo Convertible lives!! But.......?
Hello fellow rotary fanatics,
Before I start, I want to thank all of the guys who have helped me make my turbo convertible conversion a reality.
I got my car running yesterday after hours of work looking for a vacuum leak. It ended up being the blow-off valve. Now the car works fine, except for the fact that when I push the brake the engine stalls!! WTF What is going on? I do have the one way valve installed in the brake booster hose, and it's definately facing the right direction. Any ideas as to the cause of this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Not completly sure the booster is good, but this never happened before I put the turbo engine in, so I think it has something to do with the way I hooked it up.
Does the position I placed the valve along the booster hose matter?
Could the problem be electrical?
Has anyone else had this problem before?

it DOES matter which way you positioned the hose. are you sure you put the hose on the right nipple? the na/TII manifolds have different brake booster nipples.
it may be something electrical. what happens when you turn on the headlights?
