Turbo conversion

I read some guys respone to someone asking about upgrading their horespower. In the thread they talked about putting in a turbo II motor instead of trying to turbo charge yourself. They said that they could just drop in a complete motor with the computer and all the engines components and still use the old NA drivetrain (tranny and rear end). I was questioning that because the guy i bought my car from ( a junky himself) and some past posts iv read, said that u HAVE to replace the tranny, driveshaft and rear end. I want to know for sure, do u need to or not change out the rear end and tranny asspembly when taking out and NA motor and putting in a Turbo II motor?

Have you checked the FAQ?

Long story short, the TII engine bolts right up to the NA transmission if you swap on the NA flywheel and clutch assembly.
