Turbo clutch on non turbo engine
Turbo clutch on non turbo engine
HI Guys, I have a spare 87 nonturbo 13b eng. I'm trying to put in a 87 turbo car. The tranny spline is a little bigger on the turbo so I have to swap the fly wheel, and clutch from the turbo to my non turbo engine. My question is will this have any adverse effects on the engine performance? Your help is appreciated. Gary
The turbo driveline is slightly heavier, so it'll be a bit slower than a straight N/A drivetrain. And, well, it'll be slower than a turbo
.
Other than that it's all good
(Are you switching the ECUs too?

if u are using stock flywheel, u don`t need to mess with counterweight, just make sure your setup is S4 all the way and flywheel+clutch match transmission
(S4 NA motor + S4 TII flywheel with build in counterweight + TII clutch on TII tranny...)
