I have spent a couple hours searching for the exact diameter of the turbo axles but came up with nothing, They all just say it is thicker than the n/a one. Trying to figure out if my diff is a turbo model because I need a new driveshaft and the previous owner did a turbo swap. everything on this car was done half *** so I'm sceptical. Here is the reason I am confused
1. It has a turbo transmission
2.Drive shaft diameter is 2.3in and a little over 30in from u-u which means na
3. Appears unmodified (original u-joints,
4. if it matters the car was originally a/t.
I believe my fms says the axle boot diameter for the diff side is 3.9in on turbo but my calipers won't fit. Guess if nobody knows I can wrap a string than divide by pi.
