turbo on a '90 convertable?

turbo on a '90 convertable?
how hard is it to get a turbo that will go on a '90 rx-7. do they make one or would i have to get custom manifold, ect.. Does any one have one or know one with...well i guess thats enough questions i appreciate any help.

You'd have to get a custom manifold. I think the stock Turbo II manifold will bolt up to the six port engine, but there isn't enough room for the turbo to clear the intake.
If you had a custom manifold made up, you could make everything work together. It would be expensive though. The most cost effective solution to turbocharging a convertible seems to be buying a jap-spec engine somewhere or grabbing a wrecked Turbo II.
