Are they the same, or are they different?

Sounds like mine is leaking/broken. I hear a large vacum leak, when I remove the blue solenoid in the rats nest, the large leak goes away. Looking in the book, but any ideas?

Asking the above question cause if so I will run to the junk yard and pick one up.

Turbo ones are slightly smaller.

 

^thats amazing... All I can ask is why a difference? was it to save space or what?
Things like this and how the OMP for a turbo versus the NA pumping more oil just boggles me. Its not like the displacement has increased by adding a turbo, there is still the same surface area on the rotor housing that needs lubrication as the NA, so why does it need to pump more oil?

Maybe im just not seeing things clearly. Im not complaining, just wondering why mazda would make a different air pump for the turbo motors, they could have saved money using only one type of pump housing.
