I heard that onli S4's need AFM adapters.
So can i just take my aftermarket intake and bolt it right on w/o anything else?

The aftermarket kit should come with some kind of adapter, a rubber fernco more than likely, that will neck down to fit the S5 AFM. The HKS intake I installed on my 89 came with all the necessary parts.

s5's dont need an adapter since it is already round. The s4's have a square shape. If you get an intake kit it should bolt right up, but if you get a universal K&N you will have to get the right size diameter for the AFM. I think it was 2.5 or 2.75".
