True Duals G-Tech Trials :o
Hey guys. Since I have a pretty much stock FC right now except for the cats being removed all the acc. are still on it and the interior is stock etc. I got my G-tech a while ago and now I have a chance to do this. Before and after True duals G-teh runs. I'm going to do HP runs(6) 3 in one direction of the coarse and 3 in the opposite direction. Drop the lowest two and then avg. the rest and repeat the process while only changing from stock(minus cats) exhaust to True Duals. :)

You should drop the highest and lowest and average the remaining.
|
I lost my instructions is that what it says? if it does then i'll do that. :)
|
Can't wait to see what you get... I bet you it wont be much at all.
|
For someone that doesn't own the setup you make big claims. Atleast MS7 had an actual arguement and owned them. stike numero dos
|
Alrighty I got a small problem with the car that I have to fix and cause me to only run 5 runs with the exhaust thats on it right now. I also couldn't get the HP function to work with me so I am going to use the 1/4 mile function instead. I did five runs on a fairly flat stretch of road that is straight for about 3/4 of a mile.
Direction # 1 Direction #2 Run # 1 Run #2 ET 17.79 ET 18.8 MPH 80.8 MPH 75.9 Run #3 Run #4 ET 18.26 ET 18.24 MPH 76.8 MPH 77.8 Run #5 ET 18.75 MPH 75.7 Run # 1 was the fast run and Run #2 was the slow run. Both were omitted from the average pool(runs 3-5). Avg. ET 18.416 Avg. MPH 76.76 Santiago |
In the mean time while I fix the GTU i'll refer you all to my Sport's(true dual equiped) times : 1/4 mile runs
Santiago |
BTW the only mods on the GTU is that they had a pipe welded where the cat swere so its basically race piped. Its got a rebuilt engine from two years ago so its probably got around 30k miles on the engine.

lol nice times there... just make sure if you pull up to a civic to pretend you dont hear him revv at you.
|
oh yea maybe you need to run 1600cc primary injectors?
|
strike number tres joo are ponchado!
|
Oh no! i think im going to go cry in the corner.
|
dDud114 a guy that I talk to online ran a 15 second flate 1/4 mile on shitty launch. Hes got single exhaust. Stock ports. Hes got the same performance mods as you, but single exhaust. Which is Racing Beat Header to Magnaflow 4" Round Muffler/Presilencer 2.5" in/out to dual BOMZ Mufflers 2.5" inlet 4.5" outlet.
Either your sport is messed up, you cant drive, or true duals suck. |
Oh yea your 3.9 rear end wont add 1.5 seconds to your 1/4 mile time sorry.
|
Sounds like your angry anyways your on ignore and got blocked on IM's I really don't care for your comments. His run has no bearing on my runs. He doesn't live here and isn't running the same car as I am. Thats why I am doing back to back comparo's on the same car, same road, same driver. And I never said I was "el flaco" so stfu.

Haha nice. So yeah I think I found my cooland leak. The add coolant probe was not threaded all the way in!!! damn people don't know how to thread a probe in. Time to swap the duals on. :D woo woo!
|
Oh yeah Net seven has made a feedback thread on me  You all can check it out in the good guy bad guy section. Grab some popcorn if you want. I think I pretty much delt with him in the first post anyway so it might be too short of an act for popcorn. But take it anyways.

hey santiago, i'm just curious what elevation are you guys at in laredo? and i bet its fackin hot too
|
-DOH-
|
Around 700' MSL and yes it is hot.
Current temp at 7pm central time Temperature: 36.0°C (97°F) At least the humidity is only 40% James |
Yep James has the stats on the elevation as he has the air port's info. And my digi thermometer went up to 110 today outside. I think its dropped below 100 by now.

You shouldn't be simply ignoring the fastest and slowest runs. The reason you do the runs in opposite directions (apart from being convenient) is to eliminate variances caused by the slope of the road and any wind. If the two runs you ignore are in the same direction you reintroduce those errors.
What you should do is keep testing until you get six consecutive, consistant runs. |
i dont think he'll argue with that......87rx7guy..what are u waiting for......go out for a drive....
