Trouble with energy susp. bushing instal

So I purchased the energy suspension bushing kit a while back on the forum. I'm having troubles with the rear control arm bushings. They seem to be a bit too big to fit. I just tried freezing them + putting them in, but it's still not working. I'm 100% sure it's the right part as well.

Should I try to trim them? How could I do that? Lathe?

I'll post pics if needed too.

Im pretty sure you have to use a press or a vice. What method are you using?

I put the front control arm bushings on just fine. They started in then I tapped it in all the way with a rubber mallet. These won't even start in.

I thought i'd be able to help because I just did bushings. I decided not to do the rear control arms yet because I didn't want to drop the whole rear end. I'll get around to it someday.

I had more trouble getting bushing out than in. You probably need a press, puller, or vise.

Oh, I just remembered reading about this. Make sure you remove the outer metal sleeve. I think there is a metal sleeve around the old bushing that is probably stuck to the arm. It will probably need to be pressed/pulled out.

I had to cut my mine off last weekend. That metal sleeve is definately there. Once you do that putting it back in is a breeze.

That sleeve sticks out a little bit right? And there are two per hole? I'm pretty sure that's my problem. Time to get a drift and big hammer again. Thanks all.
