Triple A-pillar Gauge Pod for FC
I am having a custom triple gauge pod made for my 20B. This will replace the entire A-pillar trim piece. I am using the autometer single gauge pods and a factory trim piece as the template. I will know tomorrow wheter or not mine was made, or whether they were waiting for my o.k. on the tooling cost. If it was made, it will be here next week and I'll post some pics. I am hoping to recoup some of my sunk cost in the tooling by reselling some of these. I can have them made in any color. Since my interior is black, we've got that taken care of. Also, the trim piece I provided was maroon, so they have that color. If you want a different color - blue or grey, I'll need a sample of trim - a broken something would be fine, until they have all the colors. The cost is going to be in the $225 range. Quite a bit more than just mounting a double and a single or three singles, but ten times better looking. Let me know if you would be interested. It will take about 4 to 6 weeks to get them made.

Sounds neat. I currently have a double and a single at the top, I'm considering taking off the top one and putting the A/F meter somewhere else though, because it's right in my line of sight and is starting to annoy me because it's harder to see when turning left

Lesse...Autometer 2-1/16" gauge pods are like $15 each...Autometer 2-5/8" gauge pods are like $25 each...times three.  I don't see it costing more than $100 for three 2-5/8" gauge pods, if you want that sorta thing...

They are almost done!
There was some confusion and I researched a couple of different routes, but in the end the mold is being made this week. I should have the first one in about three weeks. The advantage of this piece is that you will have a completely custom (or from the factory) look. Essentially, a fiberglass mold is being made of the Mazda factory A-Pillar trim piece with the three Autometer Gauge pods attached. I filled in all of the cracks so it will look as it had always been the idea to have the three pods seamlessly molded into the trim piece. Then using a heat and vacuum process, the unit with be covered in the same material that is used to cover the dash. You will be able to select the color to match your interior. It looks as though the cost is going to be around $169 plus shipping. You are paying for cosmetics as three pods (with exposed screws etc) would only run you $60 to $70 bucks.
If you are interested let me know. I'll post some pics as soon as I have them.
