Traveling

I just got my engine rebuilt including new fuel injection parts. I was wondering would it be safe to travel about 200 miles every other weekend or so.

Also, I'm currently using the factory radio and noticed it takes a while for it to load a track on my cd. Is it because i'm using a cd-r or is it due to the cd player being old.

Travel as much as you like. The cars can be reliable. Just don't expect that if you beat on it.

The factory cd player? Never used one. You probably just need to get a newer unit. If you want to keep it stock, start burning on media that is less reflective. There are black bottomed CDRs for that purpose.
