hi
I was wondering if there's any way to tell the difference between transmissions visually.
ive got some im trying to distinguish and want to know if there's a way to visually tell if theres a difference between a NA and turbo transmission and between S4 and S5.
If you have pictures to point out differences that would be great too.

The bellhousing bolts onto the turbo tranny, It is made on the n/a. also the turbo is a ribbed design where as the n/a is smooth. Sorry I don't have any pics. Don't know if there's an easy way to tell the difference between S4 and S5.

 

lift up an N/A trans(fling!)..then LIIFTTT up a TII trans!.(oww!..i need help here!)

 

The NA has one fill and one drain plug, T2 has a fill plug and check plug and drain plug. NA trans has cheap, old looking wiring coming off of the 5th/reverse/NSS switches, T2 has connectors similar to what are found on the TPS and AIT sensors etc.
