will a 86 t2 tranny fit the pattern on a 86 n/a?? i plan on pullnig everything from the engine back off a t2 and wanted to know if anyone knows if it fits the same year model n/a

Yes,but you will also have to use the flywheel and clutch from a turbo model of the same year as your n/a.The bolt patten on the bell housing is the same.I take from your post you are using the drive shaft, rear differential, and half shafts from the TII.Otherwise you'll have to have a custom driveshaft to mate the TII tranny to n/a rear end.
