Okay, so since I bought my 1987 Mazda Rx7 Turbo II a month ago there has been this weird noise coming from the moment that I step on the throttle after shifting. It sounds as though the transmission is shaking when I step on the throttle. Me and my father ( who is fairly knowledgeable about cars ) have a hunch that it has to do with the transmission mounts. Any one have any ideas? and if it is the transmission mounts and idea where I can order them? Thanks Rx7 Club, your the bomb.

Another common problem with the transmission vibrating is that the cross member bushing wears out in which case you need a new cross member.

you got to get underneath the car and check it out!! the are four bolts that attatch the crossmember to the frame..make sure theyre all there and properly torqued.
