On my na fc, the seal that is closest to the drain bolt and before the driveshaft have started leaking. I spilled out about a 1/2 quart of gear oil out from my tranny. Felt the seal and it was all slimey. Is that seal blown.

 

Probably. Wipe off the tranny and then start the car and move it forward and backward a little bit and see if it starts leaking again, and from where.
