transmission leak- blind covers
well, after replacing my clutch last week, my tranny started leaking. upon initial inspection, it looked like it was leaking from the rtv between the case and extension housing.
today, i finally got it on a lift at school. after closer inspection, i realized i had forgotten 1 bolt from each blind covers(2) when i removed the wired brackets off the tranny. i saw that each blind covers have gaskets according to the shop manual, so i probably need new ones.
i found 2 bolts that threaded well into the holes, but didn't use any thread sealant, so it still leaks. do these holes for the blind cover bolts go all the way through the case? it seems like it. at least i know where the leak is. do mazdatrix carry the gaskets for the blind covers? thanx
