Bought an 88 vert for 700 bucks because the "transmission bushings were bad" haha whatever that means because that's not the problem, im not to great with the individual pieces of a transmission so bare with me, and my camera is down so this might be hard but pretty much there is a piece that looks like it guides the shifter, like a shaft guide, and it has 4 small bolts holding it down, that single piece has broken, I have 2 spare transmissions, can I just pull those 4 bolts and replace that piece? I tried but the shaft would not come out, any help would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to finish this project soon
