Transmission Fc S4 gtu

So i have a question..... When my car is cold i noticed after a drift event my car started making a noise sounds like its coming out of the shifter. It happens when the car is cold and kinda when the car is warmed up but faint. It will start when i start to move and it makes no sound but when i let go of the gas it starts making a weird noise. It sometimes happends if i cruise in neutral and let go of the clutch u can hear a whining sound all of these sounds u can hear from the shifter. I just changed my transmission fluid also made no difference any other ideas on what it might be? . Any questions ill try to answer it best i can thanks for reading.

If you have another vehicle I'd drop the tranny and check the throwout bearing, and the bearing that's pressed into the back of the motor where the shaft on the tranny goes into, those are a mess if they burn up and get mangled in there plus it can trash your tranny, but id check those two bearings first.
