Transmission/Driveshaft

i researched the na to turbo swap and that you will need the transmission of the tII. however, i was wondering if the na driveshaft would have to be replaced also or if that is not a problem. i am thinking of swapping it into a 86gxl and searched this topic finding that they are similar to the tII and was just wondering if the driveshaft would have to be replaced also. thanks for any help.

Yes it would. Driveshaft/starter/slave/rear differential/halfshafts all much match the tranny, UNLESS you get the mazdatrix (or similar) differential that has a TII yolk and the n/a flange (this allows you to keep the n/a rear-end). If you need the TII driveshaft, PM me, lol.
