Transmission Crossmember Difference

I am currently in the middle of swapping a S5 T2 transmission into my S4 N/A. The car had a 5 spd N/A trans in it originally and died. Since I needed a new trans I thought I mine as well upgrade. The issue is the crossmember. The one originally on the car was angled up on the passenger side where as the turbo one is pretty much straight. This would not be an issue were I able to swap over the entire trans mounts and crossmember however the mounting points on either trans are different. The S4 N/A trans mounts to the bottom whereas the S5 T2 mounts as a 45deg angle to the side. The only thing I can come up with is drilling holes into the S4 N/A mount plate to make it mimic the S5.

I hope I was able to be somewhat descriptive.

the s4 and s5 cross members are differents. The s5 have the following style \___/ and the S4 is _____ at the side where fits into the transmission rear housing. The bolt pattern in the car side is the same. So, to install a S5 trans into a S4 car you need to use the S5 transmission crossmember. If you need one please contact me to neneneloco55@hotmail.com that happened to me. I have a used one.
