Transmission?

I think my transmission is abiut ready to bite the big one. I found it to be leaking(almost 1qt. low) and making strange grinding noises today. Does anybody know where I can get a new or rebuilt tranny that I can install myself? It's for a 90 TII. Do you know roughly how much it would cost? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

www.pineappleracing.com does tranny rebuilds. You might want to drop a 87-88 Tranny in there for the time being if you don't want to fool around with the hassle of getting your 90 Tranny rebuilt, but the gear ratio in 5th is slightly different.

Installation is easy, I've got one I can let go for $250 plus shipping. I can't remember how many miles on it but I know the syncros are good . You can call me at the number in the signature or email me back.

rxguru I called earlier today and spoke with John. I told him I would call on Sat. with my final answer( had to talk with wife first). She says it's cool. So I will take it. I will call you to get everything finalized. Thanks.
