Trans. Problem

I just put a new slave cyl. on my car, and last night I was driving down the road, when I heard/felt a pop noise when I pushed the clutch pedal down. My clutch pedal then went clear down to the floor and was stuck there. I managed to limp my car home and I checked the resvoir for my clutch fluid and it was full, and I saw no leaks. I now notice that if I push my clutch pedal down it's almost like I have air in the system. The pedal moves real free now. I did try starting the car in reverse and the car did move while I was trying to start it. I did have one of my friends step on the clutch pedal and I watched the slave cylinder, and from what I could see looks like it is moving. This car has sat since august of 02 and I am trying to get it going. any ideas would be nice.

I would try bleeding the slave again.

that will tell you if the master is still working as well.

Was it a new/reman one or???

Sometimes if you just replace the slave, the master blows a seal internally. You typically want to replace/rebuild both when replacing/rebuilding one or the other.
