Trans housings and guts.

I jsut did a search and found only a post on LSD's. Is it the TII trans housing or the gear set that is actually stronger than the N/A. Also, how do the gears out of a miata compare to those in a N/A? Stronger, pull longer, what? What is invloved in swaping the gears out too?
For me, it would be much easier to get a Miata trans from a junkyard than a TII(not many around). I've already got one N/A trans w/ 140k miles on it, and was considering selling it, but if I can beef it up, I will.

I beleive a miata trans would be even weaker than a N/A trans, besides Im not sure it would even fit. Not a good swap in my eyes.

There was a post a while back about swapping the gears, synchro's, etc. from a miata into a Rx trans, I was just wondering what the benifit was, if any. Also if the N/A and TII trans housings were different or if it was just the gears and shafts.
