man! what a new /rebuilt / or a tranny in better shape can do to ur car! my trannt was at a loss for power.it was on its last legs of life... i swaped a junkyard tranny with mine after i did a few tricks to it.
( african american engineering ) good thing about that is that everyone is ASE certified !!
n e ways i got a tranny with 180k on it from the junkyard,swapped it, then viola i have all gears, and smoother shifting. plus i get a few more miles an hour for each gear.maybe that played a part in my 18 sec 1/4 mile run... lol
well do n e of u have a story like mine? i wish i could have a new or rebuilt tranny though.
should have seen all the metal coming out of the tranny fluid.... wow! CHUNKS!

MAYBE I LEFT OUT THE PART ABOUT MY UNIVERSAL JOINT ON MY DRIVE SHAFT WAS SHOT TOO.. LOL I THINK replacing that was good too

 

Hey Jack! Good to hear that everything is goin good for you! You should haev called me to help you install ur tranny. I still owe you BIG TIME for ur help with my tranny. Anyway.....if you havent already checked the SE forum....club 1320 is meeting this coming friday night I believe for the $8 1/4 runs all night deal. I hope you are gonna go.
