Tranny Speed Sensor Compatibility

Will a speed sensor from an M type transmission (NA) work on the R type (Turbo) transmission?

I want to use the automatic M type speed sensor for their 3.9 final rears and swap it into my R type Tubro tranny because of my use of an auto FD 3.9 ring in the rear.

For that matter, can I use the speed sensor of an auto FD tranny?

Will sensors swap?
