Tranny Q: auto S5 to Turbo S4

I am pretty sure it can be done, I figure I will need the counterweight and flywheel from another N/A as well as needing to fabricate a few things. Bushings etc. will be replaced(using my S4 TII rearend & driveshaft)

I know a lot of you are going to tell me that its not worth the effort, but let me explain why I am wanting to do this.

My 88 TII was set on fire recently. I have damn near all of the parts I need to do a S4 TII conversion on an S5 N/A(got a body for a good price) Meaning:

Engine(long)
driveshaft
rearend(everything)
Brakes
Rotors
ECU if needed, I have a megasquirt already built

What I don't have:

wiring harness
(possibly) injectors (need to check mine out and see if they are burnt up
S4 AFM( have ms, so may not need this )
S5 manual gauge cluster
What I want to know is if getting my tranny(to mate the s5 n/a engine) and rearend in is going to be a royal pain in the ***(month of work) or not too bad( a weekend or 2 of hard work if I have ALL of the parts I need). I am wondering if it would just be better for me to just get an auto tranny and drop that in to get the car running in the meantime(the tranny is dead and thats pretty much it)

BTW the car is a black 90 GXL, and I am under the impression that it already has 4 pistons in the front.

I know this isn't very clear here so I am expecting questions for clarification.
