Tranny PROBLEM!

i have a TII and everytime im at higher rpm's and i shift up, the tranny grinds (happens on 2nd and 3rd gear) and it takes about 1-3 seconds for it to go into the next gear. i already replaced the gear oil and it stopped grinding for like a few days, but it started doing it again. it's pretty annoying, do you know what could be the problem? do i just need a new tranny?

not new, just a rebuild...shift slower & more carefully, that's what I do, 'cause I don't want to have to pay for a rebuild now, either...

the problem is in the syncros, they've just gone bad most likely...there's really only three options. You can either

1.) Buy a new transmission altogether $$$
2.) Have the transmission rebuilt $$$
3.) Or learn how to double clutch FREE

lol doubleclutching will help prolong your tranny's life a little bit, i still recommend a rebuild or new one though sometime asap. just do a search on double clutching if you don't know how, good luck to ya
