trailing coils and tach work then die

need some help guys
my trailing ciols and tach work for a few seconds when u first start the car.
then they die no spark no tach.
replaced plug wires and plugs.
checked wires and connections no luck..

remove the leads from each of the trailing coils(2 leads on each, small nut, about 7mm). Use a fluke and ohm the primary of both the coils. should be 0.2 to 1.0 ohm. if they both read this value, then the igniter is bad or your 2 white plugs for that coil pack set are either not plugged in all the way or dirty. stephen.
