Trailing coil arcing across itself
I just noticed the other day something was clicking under the hood and I looked in to find my trailing coil arcing across itself. I assume I'll either need to replace the coil pack or the plug wires, but I'll check spec on the wires to see if they should be good. I know I can get a hold of used coil packs cheap, too, so my question is does this present much danger to driving it until I have another coil pack? (aside from a slight loss in power and fuel economy)
Thanks, guys.

Forget the coils, replace the wires. Their specs are irrelevant if the boots are cracked and allowing "leakage". While you're waiting for the new ones, wrap the boots in insulation tape to prevent the arcing.

It's not actually arcing from the plug outlet nor from under the boot though, if that makes a difference, and the boots aren't cracked and they're relatively new as well. I made sure the clips were inserted right and that the wires were connected to the clips. You know the plastic cover where you plug the wires into? It's arcing behind that piece of plastic (farther to the driver's side, if you're thinking relative to the car), I think even farther than just where the plastic and the rest of the unit meet.
