Trailing 2 Timing Issues?
I noticed after checking the timing that both leading are on the leading mark, and Trailing one is on the trailing mark, but trailing 2 is so far off I don't even know where the mark on the pulley is.
When I think about it it seems fine because of the degree difference that the rear rotor is from the front rotor.
I just want to know for sure that it is fine and that the T2 will not fall on any timing mark on the pulley?
Thanks
Justin

you're fine. the lead fires both plugs at the same time. the trailing plugs are fired individually from separate coils. The second trailing plug doesn't have a timing mark. I've always wondered what you're supposed to do if the trailing timing is off but the leading is on. Can't really adjust the crank angle sensor. So, why have a trailing timing mark?

You know what is weird?
I got from 350 to 425 miles to one tank. A couple days ago I had to get to behind the front cover so I removed everything I had to. After putting everything back together, I now get about 240-280 miles to a tank? PLUS, before the trailing was falling on the leading mark along with the leading coils. Now the trailing is on the trailing mark and the leading is on the leading mark and I lost half my milage?
I checked for fuel leaks, I have none. I have brand new SS solid line from the tank to the engine and ss solid lines running under the intake manifold and only short rubber lines connecting the solid line to the fuel rails and to the fuel filter.
Water thermo sensor is plugged in, CAS I installed 4 more times to see if it was possible If could get it wrong. The timing is right. My SAFC has the same adjustments and the engine runs the same.
I have no damn clue where my gas is going. I have a real minor leak around the fuel pump but it only makes the surrounding areas a little darker in color. Thats been that way for years.
Any other clue what could cause my milage to disappear? I can watch my fuel gauge drop.
Im shooting for a long shot but im going to test my O2 Sensor. I have a leak in the exhaust between the manifold and the down pipe, no cats. 2.5" all the way. I can't see why right after I put the motor together, that the o2 sensor would take a dump. The leak in the exhaust was always there for the past few weeks.
