TPS & Turbo Conversion Help!!!
I finally got the TII swap done, the car has power out the A$$...
Is an 88 TII dropped into an 88 SE Chassis, TII wiring harness and ECU with all the sensors...
Large Wastegate port but it needs enlarged since I hit 15 LBS of boost the other day... Now I am being very proactive and keeping the boost under 4 LBS until I get the bugs killed....
Now for the few bugs:
But I am not getting a TPS signal to my AVC-R or S-AFC! I have 2 TPS sensors and I tested them with an ohmmeter and they test fine.
So I slap the ground on the DMM to the engine and check the TPS plug and no matter which lead I check all 3 show 12VDC...
If I unplug the sensor I can adjust it to 1K ohm no problem...
I have searched everywhere but I am unable to find an answer to this problem....
I am considering just running fresh wiring to the ECU and engine bay to bypass what is there.
I also have no reverese lights and saw someone mention that the reverse lights are wired thru the ECU.
I am also getting the Shift Light when in 5th...
I have searched but I am unable to find the answer to my problems...
HELP!!!!!!!

only one I know for sure is the 5th gear switch in the tranny sends a signal to the ecu so that the "shift up" light is disabled in 5th, so that's why you're getting the light with the s-afc...

You don't want to use the TPS sensor input to the super AFC anyway........
The 88 TPS that you have will max out at about 30% throttle... therefore, its useless to use it on a S-AFC...
Run your S-AFC throttle input to the BOOST SENSOR pin on the ECU connector.. The S-afc will then be displaying percecntage of max boost (up to the FCD limit) in the throttle position ... you then set it to start dumping in fuel by RPM anfter the throttle (boost) reached about 95% or so... tune it with a wideband...

Something does not click here. The green/red wire at the tps plug is the output of the tps. It should be approx one volt when set right. The Brown/white is a 5volt reference voltage, and the black wire is ground. So there is no way you should see 12volts ever in my opinion. I'd check this problem out even if you decided to go with the pressure sensor.
Go check your tps plug wire colors. If they are not the same as described then you have the wrong plug?? The colors I mention are on the connector that connects to the tps plug.

I'm still using the same old engine wire harness, and the NA ECU; the SAFC was working before the swap, so I am not sure what is going on
