Tps Questions

Currently I have an S4 tps on my throttle body right now and am looking to go with a full range. My car is an s4 with a s5 tII engine that is soon to go in....again.... after the rebuild. I have a standalone unit coming my way and I was wondering what type of tps people went with on their standalone, whether it be from a mustang, 300zx, etc.?

If you are running a standalone you can run whatever TPS you want. They are all basically the same. I've used stock TPSs on plenty of standalone installs, other times I have used GM style...My car is running a Mustang throttle body with a Mustang TPS...

Since you are putting in a S5 engine, it comes with a full range TPS already.

Yeah I know but....I sold the tps a while back and used the s4 tps since my car was an s4 instead of putting in the s5 wire harness and having to switch the dash harness.
