TPS Grrrrrrr
TPS Grrrrrrr
Just got down doing a swap and I guess I am just having crappy luck with my TPS(s)
First TPS: OHM check (failed) would only go from 1k to 1.4k ohms
Second TPS OHM check won't go past 1k
Thrid TPS (I can't find that mother %&*$#) in my garage.
If the TPS is out of the car and at rest... What is it suppose to read.
My car is lossing power at 2200 rpm and I think this is the reason. (please god I hope)
Also, I bought a rtek from a forum member and the fuel cut off doesn't work and I am guessing its because of the TPS. If not I guess I have to open the ecu to see if the chip is in there. I did buy it from a trusting member. But ECU has no upgrade sticker.

So far the leading coil was bad. The wires going to the two nuts were broken and I can see a vac hose popped out from under the UIM, So I will be removing the UIM tomorrow. Hopefully this solves my problem.
