FL TPS/Eletrical woes S4 N/A

I fixed a short that kept happening with the door alarms, so now my room fuse doesn't blow anymore.

The car has been sitting for almost a year, but it started up just fine

When i started the car, it was as if the TPS was bad, would not rev over 3k RPMs, so i have been driving around with the tps disconnected for about 2 weeks until i find a replacement.

Yesterday i go to start the 7 again, it gave me the symptoms of when it was connected.

I reconnect the TPS and it allows me to rev past 3k RPMs

i still have to check the TPS with a multi-reader, but it doesn't make sense to me why it would give the symptoms with it on/off

any ideas?
