TPS bad?
TPS bad?
S4 TII(new engine):
The engine bogs on light throttle, and backfires consistently when letting off the throttle anywhere over 2000 RPMs.
Instead of the specified 1k through 5-6Kohm range, it it at 1k ohms @ idle, and at WOT it reads about 24kohms!
Replace it?
Will a S4 N/A TPS work?

To be sure, read its input at the ECU. You'll be able to see what it's doing from the driver's seat, and you'll check out the whole circuit while you're at it. If the voltages aren't good (1 volt at 750 idle, increasing to about 4.5v at WOT with no "hiccups"), then I'll agree it's a bad TPS...

Edit, answered my own question, yes. Just different FSM pages.

s5's have a narrow and wide tps... thats why theres 2 on the tb. the narrow is the bottom, wide top.
you set with pins A+B on the connector (far right 2 with the clip on top facing you)
i find its easier to set your multimeter to OHMS, and look for 1k at idle, and the specified 4-6 at wot.
make sure your car is hot when you test/set.
